What a brilliant experience. We enjoyed everything from the initial pre-meeting recommendations and then simply hanging out together and exploring the city. Absolutely one of our best travel experiences… ever!
We had a chance to hang out with Carla. She was a confident and professional host who showed passion in the city and knowledge. We explored places that were just off the main areas and she was good at answering questions from the group.
Very informative and helpful in getting our bearings in the city and learning background info on the city.The guide was great. Not only was she informative but if you listened closely she would slip in these great comments that took 2 beats to process and then you would burst out laughing.
We were in Austin for a short family trip and wanted to make the most of every minute. I have to say that it was the time well spent. Not only was our host fun, enthusiastic and extremely knowledgeable, her genuine love of the city was evident.
The guide was funny and very informative. We really enjoyed the experience. The only advice I have is if you are a new visitor, you should do this on your first day or at least early in your trip. We hung out on our last day and saw many things we would like to visit but just didn’t have time. Great choice for an overview of the city. Lots of history here.
We felt like we actually experienced the history due to our host’s personal research and careful creation of this walking tour within the city she loves! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
