My family on my father's side emigrated to the Marina District from Genoa, Italy, in 1865.
My mother came to the Mission District from El Salvador during the 80's.
I have led over 400 walking tours all over San Francisco and it would be my pleasure to also give you The Native Experience.

I run several experiences throughout the City:
Billionaire's Row & Palace of Fine Arts- 1.5 hrs
Billionaire's Row is in upper Pacific Heights and contains 6/10 houses in San Francisco that pay the highest property taxes. Route is mostly downhill but does include one medium-sized uphill block. We end at the Palace of Fine Arts in the Marina District.
Mission District Food & Culture Tour- 2 hrs
The Mission District has the highest concentration of murals in San Francisco- and some of the best food in the entire country. We’ll mainly explore 24th Street, AKA Calle 24, El Corazón de la Misión, or the Heart of the Latino Cultural District. Four (4) food items are included; drinks are not. 1.5 hr option available without food.
Haunted Historic Pub Crawl (Jackson Square, North Beach & Chinatown)- 2 hrs
Learn about early San Francisco by exploring some of the most haunted bars, alleyways and other spots in the City. We’ll explore the old Barbary Coast- where the miners hung out during the Gold Rush days- and all the debauchery that took place in those days. Two (2) drinks included.
Mission Queer Owned Pub Crawl- 2 hrs
We’ll explore three Queer-owned spots in the Mission, with some mural exploring in Clarion Alley as well! Two (2) drinks included.
Castro Ultimate LGBTQ+ Historic Tour- 1 hour
Learn all about the most famous gayborhood in the Country- including the role the US military played in shaping it, Harvey Milk’s historic run and legacy, and the businesses that make the Castro so unique.
North Beach & Chinatown Historic Tour- 1 hour
Many don’t realize that San Francisco’s story really begins in Chinatown…. Or that North Beach was quite literally the beach on the North side of the City! Learn all about the historic Italian neighborhood and the amazing history behind the very first Chinatown.
Haunted Haight Ashbury & True Crime- 1 hour
Did you know that Charles Manson and Jim Jones BOTH lived in the Haight? We’ll pass by their former residences as well as the Hell’s Angels house, the Jimi Hendrix house, a street known as Terror Terrace, Janis Joplin’s former home, and much, much more…
Painted Ladies of Alamo Square- 1 hour
This tour takes place at Alamo Square Park, historically halfway on the horseback trail from Mission Dolores to the Presidio, and made famous for Postcard Row (aka The Painted Ladies, the Victorian homes from the opening sequence of Full House).
Book three or more hours with me and I'll include a complimentary customized itinerary. Hourly rate is for 2 people max.
