I did not want another hop-on, hop-off tour to learn about San Diego. I searched for something unique--and found Chumaround. Julie is the best ambassador of her city: energetic and bursting with tidbits of knowledge and hidden places to visit that even residents of San Diego aren't aware of--like the Sea Cave! She is also organized; I appreciated her phone calls ahead of my trip so that she could suggest sights which catered to my interests. Highest recommendation.
I would highly recommend Julie! She is enthusiastic, fun, flexible and genuinely loves enlightening others about San Diego! My husband and I had visited Balboa Park years ago, but after touring with Julie we now know many more interesting historical facts. She did an amazing job guiding us on as thorough a tour possible during our short stay.
We spent 3 days in San Diego. Two on our own and one with Julie. We learned tons of stuff. We learned the History of the City. She took us to some places only locals go. TIP: Take the tour with July the 1st day and visit in depth the places you like the next days. 5 stars!
