Hi there! I’m Andres — a lifelong New Yorker. By profession, I am a writer. But by lifestyle, I am an enthusiast and traveler. Among my favorite hobbies in New York is surfing out at the spellbinding, quirky Rockaway Beach. I would love to show you this unique City experience that very few people get to have. If we’re lucky, we’ll see dolphins!
My Offer
I will pick you up in my car and drive us to Rockaway Beach, where we will get you a board and fitted for a wet suit (if weather dictates). Then, we’ll rip it out in Queens! I’ll provide some tips and tricks to surfing these small and approachable waves. Afterwards, we’ll go for a bite in one of the many incredible, unique neighborhoods nearby depending on your dietary preference, and then I will drop you off back home wherever you’d like :)

Very few people know that you can surf in the City…and yet it’s such a very NYC experience! The surf lineup is just like the subway: you meet all kinds of people, from all walks of life.

The Citysurfing local will receive your request and message you back to clarify any questions they may have. If they agree to offer their services to you, they will create and send you a customized offer which will allow you to finalize your booking.

Each listing owner decides how they will receive payments for their services. If they selected “Prepay at Booking” you will need to prepay for the offer when you finalize your booking. If they selected “Pay at Meeting” you can make your payment in the local currency when you meet.
