Among the many ancient sites that Naples displays, my favorite thing to do is take a walk along the seaside and look at some of the most ancient castles in Europe. They have the power to take you back in time...
Walk in the historical center, where you can have the best sfogliatella, encounter artists performing on the street, eat a real traditional pizza; it's something that even locals don't renounce to do!
If you are into museums and art exposure, then you’ll want to see the Archeological Museum and the Royal Palace. If you still haven’t had enough, pick one of the churches you find on the way and enter; they are rich of paintings and stunning architecture!
If you have more than one day, I definitely suggest taking the metro to Pozzuoli, where I'll be happy to meet you and show you the remains of Greek and Roman works and a spectacular view of the gulf, together with the three islands across the way. While in Pozzuoli, we can have lunch at an amazing self-serve fish restaurant and complete the experience with a great espresso in a standing cafe nearby.
