About me
I’m a fourth generation photographer but I didn’t know it till I started digging around in my family history. My passion is ocean and landscape, but why narrow it down, I’m equally interested in city and design. I like the way things are built and made, or grow and move. Come to think of it I’m also pretty wowed by the stars.
I grew up in Gloucester with its sparkling granite and rich history of the arts.
For a while I thought that boatbuilding and woodcraft were my calling, until my parents gave me a camera (Olympus OM-1). Now I see the world through glass…
Since then I’ve also explored the mountains of Colorado and the plains of the Midwest. Returning to the ocean, I realize that the rolling planks and the snap of a sail filling with wind, or a deckhand heaving a line are the moments I want to capture and share.
