I am from mexico but living in the bay area. Have manage to know interesting people and places, I enjoy better the not so much turistic places, but what the locals do. I am obsessed with finding good produce, good coffee and the place that make a neighborhood interesting. Love diversity but also the main character of a place and person. I enjoy finding the strategic routes to get to a place but also to get a view or something of interest.
I am an architect, love food and drinks, art, culture, music, speak spanish and english. I found conversations very enjoyable and I think meeting the right people in the right place is amazing and can create an amazing experience.

My Offer
We can have different plans according to the day and place, in Fruitvale basically the plan is to eat, walk, find produce, talk about life and culture, walk from Fruitvale station, try the chamoyadas or if you are hungry try one of the most delicious restaurants I've ever been for Cambodian food, this one is so different! The neighbourhood is well known for the Mexican produce markets, also products from El Salvador and Guatemala. We are surrounded by tacos and pupusas (tacos from 2 to 5 USD), so we could make a street food ranking, along the way we will find murals allegoric to Latino culture. On Sundays, there is a place with the longest bar and interesting people to meet. Fruitvale is full of diversity. Bring tote bags or backpacks, the wills to walk or bike and carry stuff, we will only need a couple of hours, but you will get the good place to find decent tortillas and cheese, fresh and cheaper products and the best tacos of the area, some are very famous. If you have some laundry or nails to do, bring them, we are surrounded! ; ). We can bike or Bart to the Lake Merrit (15/20 min) to catch the sunset, make a picnic, in weekends we can find music by the lake, Oaklanders have a lot of them, you might be surprised. You can also practice your Spanish or English while we discover and visit.
