I like going on adventures and exploring, so really I would say going for walks on trails around Woodward Park, Hiking up in the Oakhurst/Yosemite area, taking day trips to Monterrey Bay, Winchester Mystery House, San Francisco boat tours, Academy of Sciences at Golden Gate Park. More locally, depending on the season, you got Zoo Lights for Halloween and Christmas at the Chaffee Zoo, there is Rotary Park where the rides are, Lost Lake, Fresno Dam, Chuckchansi Casino, Table Mountain Casino. If you like karaoke, bowling, or billiards, we got a few of them here locally in Fresno too. There is also Eastman, Hensley, and Millerton Lake near by in the Madera area. Fun places would be Boomers for Miniature Golf and Laser Tag. There are also Escape Room places, batting cages, golf driving ranges, Edward's theater and IMAX, sometimes the Renaissance Fair is in town, there are also races like 5K and stuff. We used to have an indoor ice skating rink too. I haven't been there in a long time, but I think it's still around. Plus there are plenty of restaurants to choose from like Cheesecake Factory or Olive Garden, which are a couple of my favorites. Downtown Fresno has Chuckchansi Park for the baseball games, Fresno Fair in October. If I think a bit more, I can come up with plenty of things around Fresno and Madera areas. Even places like San Francisco or Winchester Mystery House in San Jose are about a 2-3 hour drive away. Monterrey is the same distance time-wise. That is where you got the Aquarium, Cannery Row shops, Scuba Diving, Snorkeling, boat rides to go whale watching. There is also Casa De Fruta past Pacheco Pass and much much much more to list.
