Good Day, I was born and raised in Santa Cruz and currently live in the Monterey penninsula for the past 12 years. I am a retired Firefighter/Medic and have a lot of different experiences in life.

Hello and welcome to my local host page in Monterey. I was born in Santa Cruz and have been living in Monterey for about 12 years. I'm a retired firefighter and have a lot of local experience I'd be happy to share. I'd love to show you the Monterey Peninsula from a locals stand point of view. I can show you all the local wineries where you can test some of California's best wines. I'd also welcome you to go sailing. I have a boat and I've been sailing for 15 years. I have many hobbies and local connections from surfing and sailing to golf and skydiving and I'm certain you'll have a blast with me. Best of all, you don't need a car with me. I'll gladly drive you around as we enjoy our time together.

Booking Request

To make a booking, please choose the date and time frame of your proposed meeting. Then click Request. You will then be prompted to add a message that includes the exact details of your proposed meeting.

The Citysurfing local will receive your request and message you back to clarify any questions they may have. If they agree to offer their services to you, they will create and send you a customized offer which will allow you to finalize your booking.

Each listing owner decides how they will receive payments for their services. If they selected “Prepay at Booking” you will need to prepay for the offer when you finalize your booking. If they selected “Pay at Meeting” you can make your payment in the local currency when you meet.

Had a great experience touring the hidden gems of Monterey. James was funny and an excellent guide. It was a rainy morning, so in order to enjoy the ride he delayed the start time about an hour.

He was perfect with timing, quality, service, everything. The entire time together was great. Starting from the commentary and meeting new people from around the world. Then stopping at different historical places and the best part was the beautiful scenery and photos we took.

There were 3 of us. We were not expecting this much fun. Our host showed us some really good places to shop and then invited us to a really nice Italian restaurant for dinner. We took a lot of photos and had an amazing time together.
