Hi! My name is Janelle and I'd be happy to be your tour!

I would describe myself as a true free spirt who craves creativity and freedom. This is why I am excited to be a local host for Surfaround. I enjoy the social and emotional connections I make with others. I have been described as charming, independent, energetic and compassionate. As an empath, I am intuitive and curious. I see life as a big, complex puzzle where everything is connected as a prism of emotion, compassion and mysticism, and I am always looking for a deeper meaning.

I love to know what motivates other people and am the sort of person who enjoys when others recognize and express their feelings and opinions. I am curious about life and I like to go out and experience things and step out of my comfort zone to do so. I enjoy both small talk and deep, meaningful conversations.

I know how to relax and sometimes nothing is as important as simply having fun and experiencing life's joys. You will find me to be adaptable, spontaneous, approachable, and hopefully interesting. If anything, I am cooperative, altruistic and friendly in disposition. I can get along with pretty much anyone and my friendships are far and wide.

I enjoy laughing and chatting with others and to see their smiles as they experience something new. I enjoy both daytime and evening activities. For instance, exploring hiking trails and visiting landmarks, museums and historical places or fun places significant in pop culture. I do enjoy theme parks, tourist attractions, concerts and sporting events. However, I really dig going off the beaten path to places that even some locals don't know about.

I have a good time at hole in the wall juke joints and world famous fine dining establishments. I could enjoy seeing local bands and having a beer just as much as wine and the theater or opera. As far as music goes, I seriously like the whole gamut from jazz and classical to punk, hip hop, country and EDM. Right now I'm into Electronic Swing and French classics. I like baseball, basketball, hockey and football games. Being outdoors near the water is one of my favorite things ever. I like picnics and classical music, too.

I absolutely love the theater, musical, comedy improv, cinema and all things related to acting. You can also see me in all eight episodes of "100 Humans" on Netflix this coming October, as acting is a hobby for me.

I work as a Darma and a Certified Hypnotherapist. Spiritual classes and seminars are interesting to me and I'm open-minded on topics such as sound healing and quantum physics.

I am family friendly. i have two adult children of my own. I love animals and pets. I have two rescues. It's fun for me to hang out with elderly people and people younger than myself, too. One on one is cool, as well. All in all, I'm pretty chill, flexible andI think we'll have a good time.
