About me
Hi There! Originating from The Netherlands, I have landed in Oceanside after travelling, living and working all around the world for many years. My profession is teaching dance to all ages and people from all walks of life. Specialised in Salsa, Bachata and experienced in Jazz, Zumba and Show dance. Besides teaching dance I manage our own tour company and have a lot of experience showing people around. We are active in Puerto Rico with off the beaten path tours to the rainforest, but also cultural tours to the old city and exploring the heritage of Puerto Rico. We also offer salsa, Afro percussion drumming, photography workshops. Let's explore!

How to relax and get rid of your stress with a Unique Relaxercise Workshop! I'm originally from the Netherlands and nowadays reside in Oceanside, California, after having travelled the world for many years. I started my career in 2003 as a professional dancer in theatre and TV productions, dinner shows, cruises and other types of events. I have since become certified as a professional teacher in Jazz dance, Aerobic, Zumba and Salsa LA Style and more recently expanded my skills to include Wellness Coaching, Reiki, Pranic Healing and RELAXERCISE. As an international teacher my goal is to help people better connect with themselves and others through movement and relaxation, motivating them to make healthy life choices and changes, and giving them tools to prevent, reduce and eliminate stress. Relaxercise is a unique concept where we combine stress management theory with great mind-body techniques to reduce stress. A few important tools to fight stress is getting enough exercise and relaxation, therefore the name Relaxercise. What you will learn? You will learn what the symptoms and signals of stress are, the effects of chronic stress, your personal tolerance level and stress responses, how to reduce stress and much more. The 2nd part of the workshop is active with Pilates, yoga, tai chi, and stretching exercises. Part 2 is a progressive muscle relaxation and part 3 we finish up with a breathing, visualization and meditation techniques.
