I am an Australian who has lived in Japan for 20 years. I speak Japanese and love exploring Japan. I have seen so much here and yet there is so much more to see!
My Offer
I can help you find what you are looking for. How to find "hidden onsen", or hot springs, to plan your itinerary so that your trip is stress-free. Train trips in Japan can be a fun part of your travels here and I can help you get around. Cool boat trips - I know a few good ones; whether it be overnight travel to an island or trips within Tokyo Bay.
If you are snowboarding, I know good spots to stay and it is always good to end the day with a soak in one of Japan's thousands of hot springs. Whether you want to check out the Sci-Fi part of Tokyo, the nightlife, the old part of town or the new, I can facilitate, if you want to get away from the popular tourists' spots, I can assist with that too.

Booking Request

To make a booking, please choose the date and time frame of your proposed meeting. Then click Request. You will then be prompted to add a message that includes the exact details of your proposed meeting.

The Citysurfing local will receive your request and message you back to clarify any questions they may have. If they agree to offer their services to you, they will create and send you a customized offer which will allow you to finalize your booking.

Each listing owner decides how they will receive payments for their services. If they selected “Prepay at Booking” you will need to prepay for the offer when you finalize your booking. If they selected “Pay at Meeting” you can make your payment in the local currency when you meet.
