I love showing people around the city, and I love meeting new people. I have knowledge of the history, buildings, museums, food, sports and sites in the city. I have given tours and organized road rallies and scavenger hunts for friends, groups, and people I've met while travelling. I will work with you so you can have a great experience here in Detroit!

There are a million options! Tell me what you want to see, and I'll tailor your experience. If you'd like to see downtown, we can bike around and stop at major sites, bars, and Detroit's most beautiful buildings. I'll answer questions about buildings, urban planning, history, and life and events in the city. If you're interested in Detroit as a changing city, I can drive you around the different neighborhoods and help you get a glimpse of the development and goings-on in the city. The city is changing almost every hour, and I will probably find something new and exciting too. I love eating! We can go to the best places, the most iconic places, or try something new. We can even go tasting at Eastern Market. If you like parties and festivals, I can recommend events and places to go. Also, if you are a student doing research in Detroit, I can help connect you to people and places relevant to your studies.

To make a booking, please choose the date and time frame of your proposed meeting. Then click Request. You will then be prompted to add a message that includes the exact details of your proposed meeting.

The Citysurfing local will receive your request and message you back to clarify any questions they may have. If they agree to offer their services to you, they will create and send you a customized offer which will allow you to finalize your booking.

Each listing owner decides how they will receive payments for their services. If they selected “Prepay at Booking” you will need to prepay for the offer when you finalize your booking. If they selected “Pay at Meeting” you can make your payment in the local currency when you meet.
