Each listing owner decides how they will receive payments for their services. If they selected “Prepay at Booking” you will need to prepay for the offer when you finalize your booking. If they selected “Pay at Meeting” you can make your payment in the local currency when you meet.

We would highly recommend hanging out with a local on your trip. Our host gave us a great experience of the city. It was informative, and fun. It was a great way to learn about the area. Seeing the city with a local guide that took us to places that we would have not seen otherwise.
